El parque del cielo oscuro / Dark Sky Park

Las Naciones Unidas han designado el año 2009 como IYA, siglas en inglés que significa Año Internacional de la Astronomía (International Year of Astronomy) marcando el 400 aniversario del telescopio de Galileo. Lo excitante es que a principios, con el Parque Forestal de Galloway en Escocia se anuncia los planes de convertirse en el primer "dark sky park" (el parque del cielo oscuro).

2009 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Astronomy (IYA), marking the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s telescope. The excitement is starting early, with Galloway Forest Park in Scotland announcing its plans to become Europe’s first “dark sky park.”
